Hey, my name is Aiysha! I’d love to share some of the work I’ve created throughout my time at Preston. I love creating work that feels meaningful, memorable, and full of personality. When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me baking cookies :) Take a look at some of my favourite projects!

D&Ad Brief
Create a type-led idea that explores diverse reading habits and the changing nature of reading — and how typography can help us experience stories, ideas, and information in new, meaningful ways

Background:
One Word is a typography-led reading platform designed for early readers aged 4–7 with ADHD or dyslexia. Using Rapid Serial Visual Presentation (RSVP), stories unfold one word at a time in a single focal point, reducing visual overload and supporting focus.

Nursery rhymes and children's stories from Penguin’s library are reimagined as guided reading experiences. Personalisation features allow pacing, colour and typography to adapt to each reader’s needs. Combining Monotype’s expertise in legibility with Penguin’s legacy of storytelling, One Word reimagines reading for a generation growing up on screens.
