Hey, I'm Michaela! I'm a graphic designer, motion artist and copywriter based in Lancashire. My work is all about bold colour, striking typography and creating visual worlds that demand attention. My time in Preston has been all about experimentation, pushing boundaries and letting my work flow into unexpected places. UcLan has given me the ultimate playground to dabble in every side of design. Background:
As we've moved into the digital age, the desire to turn a page has been replaced by the swipe of a screen. As a result, the average human attention span is now lower than that of a Goldfish's.
Introducing Hook. A brand new mobile reading platform cast for the way we consume content today. With the average attention span at an all-time low, traditional reading struggles to compete with the pace of the digital world. Hook changes that. By transforming books into bite-sized story segments, it makes reading as effortless and engaging as scrolling your feed.
Hooks mission is simple: capture attention and reel in a new generation of readers.
